Comparing version 10 and version 9
Please pardon the dust! We are in the process of moving the old "trac based wiki":http://dev.radiantcms.org/radiant/wiki/ over to this new Junebug based wiki. Feel free to lend us a hand if you have the time.
- General
- A small [[Radiant Handbook]] is in the works, but is currently very rough. Please help us flesh out the details!
- Radius Tags
- Curious about the tags that are available to a Radiant site? Be sure to read Tag Primers "1":http://radiantcms.org/blog/2006/05/11/tag-primer/ and "2":http://radiantcms.org/blog/2006/06/15/tag-primer-2/. There is also a "page in the handbook":/Using_Radiant which has some useful information. If you are really inquisitive, check out the source for "standard_tags.rb":http://dev.radiantcms.org/radiant/browser/trunk/radiant/app/models/standard_tags.rb. The "Radius Quickstart Guide":http://radius.rubyforge.org/files/QUICKSTART.html also has some great pointers for creating tags.
- Extensions
- Since not much has been written about the new extensions system yet, reading the source of other extensions is the best place to start. Check out the
third"third party extensionspage.page":/Thirdparty_Extensions. - How Tos
- The Radiant Handbook contains a number of helpful HowTos.
- Read the Source
- The best way to learn about Radiant, by far, is to read the source. Ruby is extremely easy to read and Radiant is a straight forward Rails application. So don't be afraid of the source, dig in! The app directory is a good place to start.
- See Radiant in Action
- There are an increasing number of RadiantUsers with live sites. Feel free to add your own site.
